Common, rare, legendary — and one in 19,500.

Every egg in Creature rolls a Fortune Multiplier between 1.0 and 2.0. Most hatch common. A few hatch gold. And a perfect 2.0 is the kind of pull people screenshot.

A legendary creature with a gold rarity frame

How rare is a legendary creature in Creature?

Every creature gets a Fortune Multiplier between 1.0 and 2.0 when its egg is created, and that number decides its rarity: Common (1.0–1.2, about 87.1% of eggs), Uncommon (1.3–1.4, about 11.3%), Rare (1.5–1.6, about 1.54%) and Legendary (1.7–2.0, about 0.12%).

A perfect 2.0× legendary is roughly a 1-in-19,500 roll. Rarity cannot be bought directly — every new egg rolls the same table — but it can be climbed over generations by merging.

Why it matters

What rarity actually changes

A high-scoring creature in Creature

Score: the number everyone compares

Rarity is not only a frame color. The Fortune Multiplier goes straight into a creature's Score:

Score = Plundrax × Velocium × Endurium × Fortune Multiplier × (1 + Lives × 0.1)

A creature with 200 in every stat, a 2.0× multiplier and full Lives lands at 22.4 million — the same creature at 1.0× scores half that.

Rarer creatures also pay out more of the game's hard currency the moment they hatch: from 1 Star Shard at the bottom of the scale up to 20 Star Shards for a perfect 2.0×. Those shards come back again if the creature is ever run through the Extractor.

A rare creature bred toward legendary rarity

Climb rarity instead of gambling for it

Through the Merger, two parents with identical Fortune Multipliers pass that value on, and parents 0.1 apart pass on the higher one two out of three times. Patient players can work their way up from rare to legendary across generations.

Fair play

Rarity you can't buy — on purpose

Creature sells no loot boxes for real money and no rarity upgrades. Buying Energy lets you create more eggs, but every egg rolls on the same odds table, whether the Energy was free or paid. The rarest creatures in the Hall of Fame are there because of luck, patience and smart merging.

Questions & answers

Frequently asked questions

What are the odds of getting a legendary creature?
About 0.12% per egg. Legendary covers Fortune Multipliers from 1.7 to 2.0. A perfect 2.0× is roughly 1 in 19,500 eggs.
What are the rarity tiers in Creature?
Common (Fortune Multiplier 1.0–1.2, blue frame, ≈87.1%), Uncommon (1.3–1.4, purple, ≈11.3%), Rare (1.5–1.6, red, ≈1.54%) and Legendary (1.7–2.0, gold, ≈0.12%).
Can I buy legendary creatures?
No. Rarity is rolled when an egg is created and cannot be purchased. Buying Energy lets you create more eggs, but every egg rolls the same odds. Creature sells no loot boxes for real money.
Is a legendary creature always the strongest?
Not necessarily. Score multiplies all three stats, the Fortune Multiplier and a Lives bonus, so a rare creature with excellent stats can outscore a legendary with weak ones.
Can a creature's rarity improve?
A hatched creature keeps its rarity, but its descendants can climb: merging parents with identical or near-identical Fortune Multipliers passes the value (or the higher value) on to the child.
How is rarity shown in the game?
By the frame color around the creature: blue for Common, purple for Uncommon, red for Rare and gold for Legendary.
